Glendell Oliver Young
Services for Glendell Oliver Young, 73, of Thomasville, are at 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008, at Harvey-Young Funeral Home in Crawfordville, Fla. Interment is in Friendship Cemetery in Crawfordville, Fla. Mrs. Young died Wednesday, Oct. 8 in Thomasville. Born in Spring Creek, Fla., she was a daughter of Robert Oliver and Audry Dean Oliver. Mrs. Young was married to Leonard Young of Thomasville for 54 years. She was a member of Panacea Full Gospel Church and a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Leonard Young of Thomasville; a son, William Young of St. Marks, Fla.; a daughter, Patricia White of Tallahassee, Fla.; a brother, Parnel Oliver of Tallahassee; a sister, Dannie Langston of Wakulla Station, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Lamar Young, Donnell Young; and a sister, Lillian Bishop.
