Mary Jewel Butler

Services for Mary Jewel Butler, 95, of Cordele, are at 2 p.m., Friday, Feb. 29, 2008, at Rainey Funeral Home in Cordele. The Rev. Tom Davis will officiate and interment is in Arabi Antioch Cemetery. Mrs. Butler died Feb. 25 at Brooks County Hospital. Born Aug. 6, 1912, in Cuthbert, she was the daughter of the late Bunk and Willie Bell Justice. She was married to B. B. Butler who preceded her in death. She was a member of Wenona Methodist Church in Cordele. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Martha Butler of Thomasville, Bob B. and Lavaye Butler of Social Circle; grandchildren, Angie and Brian Miller, Mandy and Wes Reneau, Brittany Butler all of Thomasville, Bobby Butler, Beth and Bill Cloud, Beverly and Darron Long; great-grandchildren, Dillon Reneau and Drew Reneau both of Thomasville.
