Mary Frances Ulmer Oliver

THOMASVILLE — Graveside services for Mary Frances Ulmer Oliver, 82, of Cairo are at 11 a.m., Friday, Sept. 3, 2010, in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo. The Rev. Carl Harrell will officiate.  Mrs. Oliver passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2010, at Glenn Mor Nursing Home in Thomasville. Mrs. Oliver was born Sept. 8, 1927, in Cairo, to the late Rufus Perry Ulmer and Maybell Joyner Ulmer.  She was married to Willie Boyd Oliver, who preceded her in death.  She was a store clerk with Wight and Brown Drugs Store. Survivors include son, Roger Oliver of Cairo; grandson, Michael Oliver of Cairo; sisters-in-law, Ethel Ulmer of Cairo, Louise Ulmer of Quincy, Fla., Josie Ulmer of Cairo, Melba Ulmer of Cairo, Ester Ulmer of Cairo; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Mary Aycock. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Boyd Oliver; parents, Rufus and Maybell Ulmer; daughter-in-law, Linda Doris Houck Oliver; daughter, Lisa Arlene Oliver Reynolds; brothers, Clyde Ulmer, Leroy Ulmer, Clifford Ulmer and Wayne Ulmer; and sister, Agnes Glover.
