John F. Pilcher

THOMASVILLE —

Graveside services for John F. Pilcher, 61, of Thomasville will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Meigs Sunset Cemetery.  Rev. Dennis Norman and Rev. Sonny Nixon will be officiating services.  Mr. Pilcher was a born on May 14, 1951 in Thomasville to the Charles Covington and Cornelia Ann Frost Pilcher, Sr.  He was a Methodist by faith and during his life Mr. Pilcher worked in the banking industry.  Mr. Pilcher departed this life on Friday, November 23, 2012 at his home.  Survivors to cherish his memory include his daughter Carrie Pilcher Hale (Jarrell) both of Thomasville; grandchildren Jost Hale and Pace Hale both of Thomasville; brother Charley Pilcher (Kim) of Aragon; nephews Chad Pilcher and Josh Pilcher both of Atlanta.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Covington and Cornelia Ann Frost Pilcher.  No formal visitation will be held.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your local humane society. — Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home
