Kelly Doster McLeod

THOMASVILLE —

Memorial services for Kelly Doster McLeod, 32, of Brunswick, formerly of Thomasville will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, May 14, 2012 at Trinity Anglican Church in Thomasville.  Mr. McLeod was born on August 26, 1979 in Thomasville and departed this life on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Southeast Georgia Regional Medical Center in Brunswick.  A graduate of Thomasville High School, Mr. McLeod was also a member of the band during his time their.  He would go on to attend Southwest Georgia Technical College in Thomasville where he obtained a degree in Respiratory Therapy.  After obtaining this degree he became a Nationally Registered Respiratory Therapist and used this knowledge to enlighten others as a teacher at Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah.  During his time there he was also employed as a Respiratory Therapist at Southeast Georgia Regional Medical Center in Brunswick.  Mr. McLeod attended Trinity Anglican Church in Thomasville.  He is described by family as an avid fisherman and loved watching FSU football.  Survivors to cherish his memory include his daughter Katie Marie McLeod of Bon Aqua, TN; parents Patrick McLeod, Sr. and Sharon Doster McLeod of Thomasville; brother Patrick McLeod, Jr. of Brunswick; niece Natalie Kristin McLeod of Cambridge, England; Aunt and Uncle Brenda and Jim Nobles of Georgetown; Aunt and Uncle Donna and Steve Harris of Albany; Uncle and Aunt Danny and Fran Foster of Leary; Aunt and Uncle Tina and Bobby Ingram of Rocky Face; Aunt Enneis Haney of Ft. Myers; FL and a number of cousins. He was preceded in death by his uncle William Z. McLeod, Jr.; Grandparents William Z., Sr. and Mary E. McLeod, Edwin V. Doster, and Jack and Lois Riggs.  In Lieu of Flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Kelly McLeod to the Building Fund of Trinity Anglican Church, P.O.
