John Webb Heath

— John Webb Heath, 78, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2012, at his home in Cairo. Services will be held at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. on Monday May, 7, 2012. The Rev. William Hall and the Rev. Joe Allen will officiate, and internment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Born Dec. 15, 1933, in Cartersville, he was a son of the late William Maryland and Nona Webb Heath. Mr. Heath was a graduate of Lee County High School and attended Georgia Southwestern University. Survivors include his wife, Ethelene Heath; daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Steve Freeland; son, David Heath; sisters, Ellen Williams, Frances Woods; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Clark and Mary Nell Cherry, Gilbert and Elizabeth Vaughn. Also surviving are eight loving grandchildren and one great-grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday at Allen & Allen Funeral Home. Guests may sign the online guest register at www.allenfh.com. — Allen & Allen Funeral Home
