Anna S. Newhall

THOMASVILLE —

Memorial services for Anna S. Newhall, 86, of Cairo, GA, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 21, 2013, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA.  Rev. David Cook will officiate.  Services will conclude at the Chapel.  Private interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA.  Mrs. Newhall passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2013, at her home in Cairo, GA.  Mrs. Newhall was born on April 22, 1926, in Oneida, PA, to the late Nicholas Krutz and Anna K. Krutz.  On October 31, 1950, she married Freeman L. “Frank” Newhall, who preceded her in death on August 9, 1997.  They were married for 47 years.  She was a homemaker and of the Christian Faith.  Anna loved gardening and farm life where she even raised several cows until several years ago.  She enjoyed singing, traveling, family and friends.      Survivors include: her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Vincent Conti of Cairo, GA; grandson, Nicholas V. Conti of Cairo, GA; brother, Fred Krutz of Hazelton, PA; sisters, Margie Makara of Sugarloaf, PA, Marie Terpak of Mayfield, PA, Jean Lenahan of Long Island, NY, Helen Gavica of Verdi, NV, Cathy Fellin of Glen Garden, NJ, Laurel Polinsky of Hazle Township, PA and a host of nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Newhall was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; sister, Agnes Bialoglowy; brothers, John Krutz, Steve Krutz, Joe Krutz, Eddie Krutz, Sammie Krutz and Nicholas Krutz.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Southwest Georgia, 114A Mimosa Drive, Thomasville, GA, 31792.  The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home following the service.  Guests may sign the online register at www.clarkfuneral.com. — Clark Funeral Home
