Fay Gwynette Cliett

THOMASVILLE —

Funeral services for Fay Gwynette Cliett, 84, of Cairo, GA, will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, March 18, 2013, at Capel Baptist Church, Cairo, GA.  Rev. Robert Crapps will officiate.  Ms. Cliett passed away at Camellia Gardens on Thursday, March 14, 2013.  Interment services will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Cairo, GA.  Ms. Cliett was born on June 7, 1928, in Cairo, GA, to the late Sam LeVar and the late Janie Cook LeVar. She married Murray Henry Cliett in November of 1945, who proceeded her in death December 26, 1994. She was a hairdresser and of the Baptist faith.  Survivors include: daughter, Kim Haithcock (Housten) of Valdosta, GA; niece, Sylvia Madore, (Gerry) of Wetumpka, AL; sisters-in-law, Geraldine Miller of Whigham, GA and Pearl Cliett of Cairo, GA; brother-in-law, Ray Cliett of Cairo, GA. A host of nieces and nephews. Special friends Gala and Marty Register.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Kate LeVar Kirkland and niece, Latrelle Kirkland Maddox.  The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home, Sunday, March 17, 2013, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Guests may sign the online register at www.clarkfuneral.com. — Clark Funeral Home
