Services for Michael Aaron Sanders, 60, of Thomasville are at 11 a.m., May 5, 2012, at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 300 Harris St. The Rev. Curnell Henry will officiate and interment is in Peaceful Rest Cemetery. Pallbearers are friends of the family. Mr. Sanders died April 30 at his residence. Born Dec. 23, 1951, in Lake City, Fla., he is a son of the late Mae Joyce and Emory Sanders of Thomasville. On Sept. 24, 1993, in Thomasville, he married Roscella Broadnax Sanders. He attended Douglass High School. Survivors include his wife, Roscella Sanders of Thomasville; sons, Michael Sanders Jr. (Marshelle) of Cairo, Anthony Broadnax of Thomasville; daughter, Kasandra Broadnax of Thomasville; son, David Broadnax of Los Angeles, Calif.; granddaughter; Jineisha Sanders of Cairo; grandson, Tobias Sanders of Cairo; granddaughter, Chenay Moore of Thomasville; grandson, Demetrius Marshall (Tiffany) of Thomasville; granddaughter, Ar’mani Hatcher of Albany; nephews, Jeffrey Sanders, Shedrick Cox, Ricky Sanders, John Lee Robinson all of Thomasville; niece, Bernadette Sanders of Thomasville; and numerous of other relatives and friends. The viewing is from 2 to 8 p.m., today and from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral hour at the church with no viewing after the eulogy. — Hatcher-Peoples Funeral Home
