Barbara Jean Sickler Carrano

THOMASVILLE —

Services for Barbara Jean Sickler Carrano, Thomasville, GA on February 8, 2013 at 3:00 pm at Allen and Allen Funeral Chapel, Rev Johnny Cooper will officiate with Interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens.  Mrs. Carrano died February 3, 2013 at Archbold Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born April 5th 1936 in Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Harold and Irene Marie Spears Sickler.  She was married to the late Francisco (Frank) Carrano. She was a devoted wife, wonderful mother, grandmother and mother in law who loved her family and She loved the Lord. She was a member of St Augustine Catholic Church, her health kept her from attending.  She retired from Pack N Sack Stores. Survivors include her daughters JoAnn Passmore (George), Teresa Little (Joey), Kathy Summerlin, who was her mother's caregiver (Perry) and Laura Carrano (Michael Franklin).  Grandchildren, Patrick Little (Tammy), James Summerlin (Shannon), Sunny Jo Burns, Frankie Summerlin (Neka), Michael Burns, Christina Thomas, Samantha Hollis (Gary) and Jessica Lary (Israel); Great-grandchildren, Joseph Little, Tyler, William and Landon Summerlin, Francessca Huffman, Courtney, Stephanie, Stevie and Harley Rogers, Chloe Thomas, AJ Summerlin, Raymond and Brandon Hodges, Blake Franklin and Calix and Ezekiel Lary; one Great-Great grandchild Ezekiel Vinson.  Pallbearers will be her grandsons Patrick Little, James Summerlin, Frankie Summerlin, Michael Burns, Gary Hollis and Israel Lary; Sisters, Shelia Beechel, Ocala Fla. Sharon Mergendahl, Irene Hoffstatter (Gary) and  Sandi Jacobson (Peter) New York; Brothers, Charles Sickler (Lee), Michael Sickler, (Lori), Joseph Sickler, Gerald Sickler, Terrance Sickler, (Brenda) and Darren Sickler from New York.  She has a host of Nieces and Nephews. Proceeded her in death was a grandchild Heather Burns, Jennifer Carrano Tillman, great- grandchild Mason David Summerlin, and by her brother Gary Sickler. Visitation will be from 2:00-3:00 pm before the funeral hour at Allen and Allen funeral home.  Guest may sign the online register at www.allenfh.com. — Allen & Allen Funeral Home
