Robert Donald Allen



Services for Mr. Robert Donald Allen are 2 p.m. Sunday, July 26, 2009, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the conclusion of the service. Mr. Allen was born Oct. 7, 1941, in Moultrie, to parents Robert Lee and Willodene Snipes Allen. He loved to travel and loved to bass fish. Mr. Allen died Friday, July 24, 2009, at Grady General Hospital. He is survived by his sons, Keith and wife Lana Allen of Thomasville, Jeff and wife Denise Allen of Cairo, Robert and wife Courtney Allen of Tallahassee, Fla., and Shawn and wife Misty Allen of Moultrie; daughter, Betsy Jill Allen of Moultrie; brother, Doyle and wife Patricia Allen of Douglas; sister, Barbara Ann and husband James Murphy of McDonough; “Papa Don’s” grandchildren, Ryan Allen, Josh Hurst, Courtney Cato, Kristin Curles, Jena Allen, Brook Allen, Brianne Allen and Shawn Allen; and, great-grandchildren, Peyton Allen and Mason Cato.
