THOMASVILLE —
Thomasville City School students recently canvassed their minds in order to mold ordinary materials into extraordinary pieces of art. The results are currently displayed for all to see.
“Finding the Artist in Me…Our Personal Art Journeys, sponsored by the Thomasville City School System, ion exhibit at the Thomasville Center for the Arts.
Proving a journey through the psyche leads to masterpieces of all kinds, students from Harper, Jerger and Scott elementary schools, MacIntyre Park Middle School and the Scholars Academy Middle School have contributed an assortment of pieces. Upon entry into the gallery, guests are witness to drawings and paintings of both real and fantasy creatures and scenes, atypical painted furniture and even a robot made from recycled computer parts.
