Cairo’s Sydney Lee crowned

Sydney Paige Lee of Cairo was crowned Miss Cherokee Fair’s Outstanding Teen 2013 on Saturday, Oct. 13 in Woodstock.

She will represent the area in the Miss Georgia’s Outstanding Teen competition in June in Columbus.

The daughter of Ryan and Malia Lee, also of Cairo, she is a 15-year-old freshman at Cairo High School. A pianist, her talent in the competition was a performance of “Sweet Child O’ Mine.”

Lee was also named the Lifestyle and Fitness award winner in the outstanding teen division.
