THOMASVILLE —
Lawmen executed a search warrant Monday at a small Boston residence fond an incriminating clog in the kitchen sink.
Thomas County/Thomasville Narcotics/Vice Division agents put a residence at 122 E. Garret St. in Boston under surveillance, then executed a search warrant at the house. No one was at home, and officers entered the dwelling.
“When we entered the residence, we smelled a strong odor of raw marijuana,” said Kevin Lee, narcotics/vice commander. “It’s a small house.”
In plain view in the kitchen sink, officers found powder cocaine and about a quarter of a pound of marijuana.
More powder cocaine, totaling 16 bags, were found in a bedroom.
Narcotics/vice had been informed that the person who lived at the house, Kentavieus Emmanuel Brinson, was selling drugs at the residence.
The suspect, 23, surrendered Tuesday at the Jail-Justice Center.
Brinson is charged with cocaine possession with intent to distribute, cocaine possession with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a housing authority, marijuana possession with intent to distribute and marijuana possession with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a housing authority.
“We’ve been to this house before and dealt with him,” Lee explained.
Brinson was released from the Thomas County Jail on a $22,100 bond.
