On May 5, nearly 300 people, young and old, served the residents of Thomasville in nine different ways at nine different locations.
Inside Out Nation launched The Backyard, a new local service initiative, with these service projects in partnership with Hands on Thomas County.

Southwestern State Hospital in Thomasville will close Dec. 31, 2013. The announcement was made Wednesday morning at the hospital. More information will be available later today.
