GBI arrests Cairo man

THOMASVILLE — A Cairo man was released from the Thomas County Jail on a $10,000 bond on charges of child molestation and statutory rape.

Brandon Wade Conrad, 20, 276 Oakland Drive, Cairo, was arrested by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

The victim was a minor female, said Steve Turner, special agent in charge of the Thomasville regional GBI office.

Conrad had sexual relations with the juvenile during the past two months, Turner said.

“It was in Thomas County,” he added.
