Off Broadstreet Centre for the Dance Arts presents Dance Life and Wonderland

THOMASVILLE — South Georgia audiences will be treated to something special June 8th, 9th & 10th when Off Broadstreet Centre for the Dance Arts (OBCDA) students and The F.I.R.M. Dance Company members present their 20th Annual Spring Production, “DanceLife” and “Wonderland.”  Artistic Director Dana Willis says, “Part I of each Spring Production will showcase the talent of OBCDA’s students and the 2011-2012 competition repertoire of The F.I.R.M. Dance Company.  Each performance will feature a different version, so some may want to attend all performances in order to truly appreciate the versatility of OBCDA and its students.”  Willis is equally excited about Part II of each Production, “Wonderland.”  “You’ve Never seen Wonderland like this!” explains Willis, “the amazing dancing coupled with the theatrical visual effects puts a new spin on the familiar fairytale”. “the art of this production is that it open to one’s own interpretation…the music is original, the choreography is contemporary, and  the costuming is amazing…all of this combined with the production aspects creates a production like no other…this is definitely not your typical dance recital.
