THOMASVILLE —
After serving as the faculty sponsor of the National Honor Society at Brookwood School for almost 40 years, Ann Larson has turned over that responsibility to Phil Danner.
She participated with other teachers in the "tapping" of the new NHS members on Nov. 14. Then, the chapter members surprised her at the luncheon afterward with flowers and an engraved pewter tray for her years of service in creating and overseeing Brookwood's oldest traditional ceremony.
See Saturday's edition for more details.
