Y camp

Kids ages 4 – 12 may attend a YMCA spring break camp from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., April 6-10 at the Weston YMCA. OSHA seminar

The Thomas County Employer Committee and the Thomasville Area SHRM Chapter, Society of Human Resource Managers, are co-sponsoring a seminar entitled: "Are you ready . . . preparing for OSHA". The seminar is from 8:30 a.m. to noon, March 17, at Southwest Georgia Technical College. Seminar topics include calculating the true costs of accidents and managing safety in the workplace. Speaker Phillip Moncrief has more than 18 years experience as a compliance officer with the U.S. Dept. of Labor/OSHA. Cost is $30 per person or five for $125. A continental breakfast will be served. Show

The seventh annual city of Roses Car and Truck Show is April 25 in downtown Thomasville. Registration is 9 a.m. and the show is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Thomasville Christian School, a ministry of Christ Community Presbyterian Church, is holding open enrollment for K5-8th grade. Maximum class size is 18 students per grade. The 19th annual Boston Spring Fling and Auction is Saturday, April 11, in downtown Boston. Vendors are being sought for the flea market on Main Street. The Georgia Department of Veterans Service office is open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays and from 1 to 4:30 p.m., Wednesdays. Office hours for itinerant service changes to 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., every third Wednesdays.
