Pair indicted in molestation case

THOMASVILLE — A man and woman charged in August in a child-molestation case involving nude photographs of a young girl have been indicted by a Thomas County grand jury on a total of 30 counts.

Dawn Snider, 46, and Robert Wayne Reifsnyder, 49, of the same 750 E. Pinetree Blvd. mobile home park, have been held without bond since their arrests.

Reifsnyder was indicted on four counts of enticing a child, two counts of sexual exploitation of children, four counts of aggravated sexual battery and nine counts of child molestation.

A Tallahassee, Fla., police officer contacted Thomasville police in August about 35-mm film submitted for processing at a Tallahassee Wal-Mart.

Processed photos showed a nude female child who appeared to be about 10, a Thomas County Sheriff’s Office incident report showed.

Reifsnyder, who submitted the film for processing, told Tallahassee authorities the photographs were taken at his Thomas County residence.

Reifsnyder admitted touching the child inappropriately, a sheriff’s office investigator said in August. The officer also said a member of the child’s family was present when the touching took place.

More photos of the child were found at Reifsnyder’s residence, the officer said.

Reifsnyder and Snider are to be arraigned Monday.
