THOMASVILLE — The National Weather Service forecasts 100 percent chance of rain today with rainfall amounts between one and two inches possible. South-southwest wind between 10-15 mph are also expected.
Hazardous weather conditions as of 8:30 a.m. include:
*a lake wind advisory, meaning gusts up to 40-45 mph ahead of a cold front can be expected, for Cairo and Thomasville until 4 p.m.;
*a flood watch throughout the day for Cairo and Thomasville.
Tonight will be mostly cloudy with a low around 45 degrees and west-northwest wind around 10 mph.
