A memorial service for Doris LaVeren Harnage of Ochlocknee is at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009, at Whiddon-Shiver Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Dewayne Atkinson will officiate. Mrs. Harnage died Monday, Dec. 7 at Archbold Medical Center. Born Dec. 3, 1942, in Moultrie, Ga., she was a daughter of the late Herman Hollis Burdett and Corene Lynn Taylor. On August 30, 1985, she was married to Jimmy Robert Harnage. She was a homemaker and a member of Cairo Church of God. Survivors include her husband, Jimmy R. Harnage of Ochlocknee; daughter, Patricia Witherington of Cairo; son, Tommy Dale Stephens of Pavo; daughter, Teresa Lynn McMullen of Ochlocknee; stepchildren, Rebecca Anne Raynor, Jimmy Robert Harnage Jr., Carol Lynn Burgess all of Corbin, Ky.; brother, Hollis Burdette of Inverness, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and five stepgrandchildren. — Whiddon-Shiver Funeral Home
