Tommy Blumette

Services for Thomas “Tommy” Peter Blumette Jr., 21, of Cookeville, Tenn., are 2:30 p.m. today, March 14, 2010, in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Pastor Donnie Davidson, Pastor Greg Canada and his father, Tom Blumette, will officiate. Interment will follow in Judd Cemetery in the Holladay Community. Mr. Blumette died Thursday, March 11, 2010, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born Sept. 29, 1988, in Thomasville, to Thomas “Tom” Peter Blumette Sr. of Williamsburg, Ky., and Janet Susan Hobby Blumette of Cookeville. He graduated from South Oldom High School in Crestwood, Ky. He was a student at the University of Cumberlands in Williamsburg. He attended Cookeville First Assembly of God in Cookeville. Survivors in addition to his parents include three sisters, Jaime Lewis of Thomasville, and Rebekah and Ashley Blumette, both of Cookeville; grandmother, Lucille Blumette of Parsippany, N.J.; aunts and uncles, Therese and Richard Blumette of Parsippany, Betty Young o South Dakota, Debbie Doyle of Albany, Nan Hobby of Coolidge, Tony Roberts of Thomasville and Rhonda Musgrove of Thomasville; and, a host of cousins. Family will receive friends after 1 p.m. today at the funeral home. — Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home
