Services for Carol H. Thomas of Thomasville are at 3 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2010, at St. Thomas Episcopal Church where she was a member. The Rev. Judy Jones will officiate and interment is in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers are Claud Davis, Bobby Jackson, Paul McDougal, Stephen Cheney, Otis Boyd and Randall Moore. Mrs. Thomas died Feb. 7, at her residence. Born in 1959 in Jacksonville, Fla., she was a daughter of Betty Price Hygema of Thomasville. She was married to William Richard Thomas III of Thomasville. She was a member of Thomasville Junior Service League, Thomasville Rose Society, National Rose Society and very active with Safe Haven. She was a homemaker, mother and wife. Survivors include her husband, Rick Thomas of Thomasville; daughter, Radford Thomas of Thomasville; son, Ashton Thomas of Thomasville; her mother, Betty P. Hygema of Thomasville; brother, Mark Hygema of Live Oak. Fla.; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 216 Remington Ave., Thomasville, Ga. 31792 or the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East Third St., New York, N.Y. 10016.
