LeVaughn Ross

Services for Mr. LeVaughn Ross are 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 26, 2009, at Clifford Temple C.M.E. Church. Rev. Dewayne Wade is pastor and Rev. Chuck Dunbar will officiate. Interment will follow at Peaceful Rest Cemetery. Mr. Ross was born to the late John D. Ross Jr. and Mildred Ross on Oct. 10, 1956, in Thomasville. He was the grandchild of the late John D. Ross Sr. and Willie Rene Ross. He graduated from Thomasville High School in 1974 and later attended Birdwood College. He and Carolyn Ross were joined in holy matrimony on Aug. 22, 1980. From this union two children were born, Tennille Ross and Tinika (Shuanta) Dismuke, both of Thomasville. He was the grandfather of Taylor Moore, Tionne Moore, Tyson Moore and Shuanta Dismuke Jr., all of Thomasville, Dekaldrick Dismuke of Albany, and Deonta Dismuke of Cairo. He was the brother of John Ross III of Atlanta, Terry (Faye) Ross of Thomasville, Derrick Ross of Thomasville, and Crystal (Jason) Polite of Nashville, Tenn. He was the uncle of Lemoryia Ross, Tameka Ross, Taira Ross, Terrence Ross and John David Ross IV, all of Thomasville. He had a host of aunts, uncles and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble 10 a.m. Saturday at 7544 Metcalf Road for the procession. — Hadley’s Funeral Home
