Nettie Marie Gaddy Utley
Services for Nettie Marie Gaddy Utley of Lake View, S.C. are at 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009, at Union Methodist Church with burial in Regan Cemetery. Mrs. Utley, 89, died Tuesday, Nov. 24, at her residence. Born in Dillon County, July 9, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Weitus and Nettie Gaddy. She was a member of Fork Presbyterian Church, and former member of Union Methodist Church, and she was a retired school teacher. She was the widow of the late Wade C. Utley Sr. Survivors include her sons, William G. "Bill" Utley of Fitzpatrick, Ala., Wade C. Utley Jr. of Birmingham, Ala.; brother, Hardy Gaddy; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. — Cooper Funeral Home, Dillon, S.C.
