Robert "P-Knuckle" Earl Fleming

Services for Robert “P-Knuckle” Earl Fleming, 59, of Thomasville, are at 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009, at Trinity Baptist Church. The Rev. Ken Burgess, pastor, and the Rev. Andrew Hamilton will officiate and interment is in Peaceful Rest Cemetery. Pallbearers are Orlando Coleman, Eric Fleming, Chris Fleming Jr., Carzel Fleming, Isaiah Lockett, Eric Fleming, Tyrone Fleming, Charles Anderson and Kenneth Fleming Jr. Mr. Fleming died Nov. 17 at Archbold Hospital. Born Dec. 4, 1950, in Thomasville, he was a son of the late James Fleming Sr. and Bernice Hansell Fleming. He attended Central High School and worked for Jack Vonier Moving Company. Survivors include daughters and husbands, Ieshea Bryant (Gilbert), Ineshea Grant (Steve) all of Thomasville; daughters, Margo Thompson, Patricia White both of Tallahassee, Fla., Melissa Battle of Thomasville; son and wife, Timothy Jones (Conquista) of Thomasville; sons, Jamar Mickens of Clearwater, Fla., Cedric Bynard of Thomasville; devoted friend, Lucy White of Thomasville; brothers and wives, Kenneth Fleming (Jackie), Chris Fleming Sr. (Sylvia), Terry Fleming (Patashia) all of Thomasville; sister and husband, Shelia Williams (Albert) of Thomasville; 14 grandchildren; aunt, Willie Mae Hansell of Wakulla, Fla.; cousin, Rosemary Butler of Thomasville; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a sister, Doretha Larkins; two brothers, Rudolph Fleming, James Fleming Jr.; and grandparents, Seaborn Hansell and Annie Hansell. The viewing is from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m., until the funeral hour Saturday at the church with no viewing after the eulogy. The family will receive friends after the services at Berean Baptist Church, 1303 W. Jackson St. Relatives and friends are asked to meet at 9:45 a.m., Saturday at 432 E.
