Graveside services for Noah A. “Buddy” Tyson Jr. of Coolidge are at 4 p.m., Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, at Big Creek Baptist Church cemetery. The Rev. Johnny Cooper will officiate. Mr. Tyson died Monday, Nov. 23 at Archbold Hospital. Born July 10, 1933, in Adel, he was a son of the late Noah A. Tyson Sr. and Louise NeSmith Tyson. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict, of the Baptist faith and retired exterminator from Walt Disney World. Survivors include daughters, Tracey T. Guy of Panacea, Fla., Joanny Tyson of Coolidge; six grandchildren; sisters, Janie McDonald of Winter Garden, Fla., Betty Jean Tyson of Thomasville; and a brother, Howard L. Tyson of Thomasville. He was preceded in death by a sister, Esther Mae Sherrod; and brothers, Troy Tyson, Robbie Lee Tyson and Charles Tyson.
