Eula Bryant Vickers Miller

Services for Eula Bryant Vickers Miller, 88, of Cairo, Ga., are at 4 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009, at the chapel of Clark Funeral Home. The Rev. Mark Addington and the Rev. Marcus Zillman, grandsons of the deceased, will officiate. Interment is in Piedmont Cemetery, Calvary, Ga. Mrs. Miller died Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009, at her home in Cairo. Mrs. Miller was born July 26, 1921, to the late William Wiley and Lola Boyette Bryant, formerly of Calvary, Ga. A native of Grady County, Mrs. Miller was a homemaker and a Christian. She graduated from Cairo High School Class of 1940. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and a friend to countless people. Survivors include two sons, Gavin Vickers (Vicki) of Alma, Ga., Nolan Vickers (Jeanie) of Stone Mountain, Ga.; four daughters, Anne Allen (Elmer) of Pelham, Ga., Ruth Sims (Ross) of Cairo, Ga., Mary Vickers-Brown (Tom) of Cairo, Ga., Lota Elliott (Richard) of Navarre, Fla.; brother, Lex Bryant (Holland) of Jacksonville, Fla.; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Edward Davin Vickers; two sisters; and four brothers. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
