Martha Howard Fullerton

Private family services for Martha Howard Fullerton of Thomasville, formerly of Allison Park, Penn., will be held at King Funeral Home, Allison Park, Penn. Mrs. Fullerton died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Nov. 19, 2009. Born June 13, 1921, in Pittsburgh, Penn., she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William E. Howard. She married Victor (Bus) Fullerton on Nov. 27, 1941, both graduates of Westinghouse High School. Mr. and Mrs. Fullerton resided in Allison Park, Penn., for over 50 years, where they built their home and raised four children. She was an active member of Parkwood Presbyterian Church, serving on various committees. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star. Upon moving to Thomasville, she joined Thomasville First United Methodist Church and attended the adult Bible Study Sunday School Class. She was a member of the Archbold Auxiliary and donated numerous hand-knitted items for the newborn nursery at Archbold Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband Bus, on Aug. 9, 1997. Survivors include her sister, Bertha Scott of Beaverton Oreg.; daughter, Linda Fullerton of Thomasville; son, Robert (wife Joan) of Baden, Penn.; daughter, Vicki Connelly (husband Rich) of Alpharetta, Ga.; son, Randy (partner Chuck) of Decatur, Ga.; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Southwest Georgia, c/o Archbold Foundation, 910 S. Broad St., Thomasville, Ga. 31792 or Thomasville First United Methodist Church, P.O.
