Gussie M. Richardson

Services for Gussie M. Richardson, 81, of Calvary, are at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, at St. John Freewill Holiness Church in Cairo where she was a member. Minister Willie R. Mitchell Sr. will officiate and interment is in Crestview Cemetery in Cairo. Pallbearers are Greg Anderson, Charles Maynor, Vernon Anderson, Derrick Lynn, Charles Anderson, Jeffray Miller and Sydney Maynor. Mrs. Richardson died Nov. 13 at Pinewood Nursing Center in Whigham. Born March 28, 1928, in Cairo, she was a daughter of the late Gus and Rosa Morgan Anderson. She attended Grady County public schools and was a housewife. Survivors include sons, Allen Johnson of St. Petersburg, Fla., James Anderson of Albany; daughters-in-law, Kimberly Johnson of St. Petersburg, Linda Anderson of Thomasville; granddaughters, Ashley Johnson, Akira Johnson both of St. Petersburg, Saketha A. Johnson of Valdosta; brother, Elijah (Dot) Anderson of Cairo; sisters, Bernice Miller, Annie M. Anderson both of Cairo; and numerous nephews, cousins and friends. — Cloud & Son Funeral Home
