Terri Lee Carpenter

Services for Terri Lee Carpenter, 45, of Grady County, are at 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009, at Family Worship Center, Cairo, Ga. Pastor Johnny Moore will officiate and interment follows in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Cairo. Mrs. Carpenter passed away at her home on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009. Pallbearers are David Raimondo, David Irwin, David Norton, Tim Law, Phillip Palmer and Terry Darsey. Mrs. Carpenter was born July 11, 1964, in Redondo Beach, Calif. She married Michael Carpenter on Dec. 7, 1990, in Tallahassee, Fl. Terri was a loving wife, as well as a compassionate and understanding mother, sister, daughter and granddaughter. She enjoyed the friendship of her canine companions Romeo, PD, Shorty and Ziggy. Terri was a saved and baptized member of Family Worship Center. Survivors include her husband, Michael Carpenter of Ochlocknee, Ga.; her son, Devin M. Carpenter of Thomasville, Ga., who attends and plays baseball at Thomas University; sisters and brother-in-law, Kimberly J. Coski of Ocala, Fla., Mary Lee Coski of Ocala, Fla., Laurie and Jason Connell of Ochlocknee, Ga.; her mother, Mary Barber of Jacksonville, Fla.; her grandmother, Lonie Riddle of Jacksonville, Fla. Mrs. Carpenter was preceded in death by her grandfather, Charles Riddle. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
