Willie Lee Dye

Services for Willie Lee Dye, 83, Cairo, are at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 26, 2008, at Friendship House of Prayer in Cairo. Elder Ruben Addison will officiate and interment is in Crestview Cemetery in Cairo. Active pallbearers are Calvin Daniels, Anthony Gordon, Sinatria Williams, Johnta Williams, Andre Armstrong and Keith Brown. Mr. Dye died July 16 at his residence. Born May 22, 1925, in McCormick, S.C., he was a son of the late Fate and Mattie M. Dye. He was married Myrlene Brown who preceded him in death. He was a member of Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include daughters, Mary (Charles) Riles, Lara Linton, Priscilla Myles all of Cairo; sons, Isaac Daniels, Tyrone (Sally) Oliver all of Cairo; sister-in-law, Annie Harvey of Cairo; brothers-in-law, Lewis Brown, Charlie Copeland, L.Z. (Bobbie Jean) Brown all of Cairo; 16 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. — Cloud & Son Funeral Home
