Services for Leroy “Brother” Williams, 89, of Thomasville are at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 20, 2010, at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church where he was a member. The Rev. Andrew Anderson will officiate and interment is in Peaceful Rest Cemetery. Pallbearers are members of Joppa Lodge No. 43. Mr. Williams died March 10 in Thomasville. Born Feb. 18, 1921, in Thomas County, he was a son of the late Abe and Penny Williams. He was married to Lizzie Revels who preceded him in death. He was employed by Walden Logging Company and a member of Joppa Lodge No. 43. Survivors include granddaughter, Carol R. Davis of Thomasville; grandson, Willie (Bernadine) Jones Jr. of Cairo; stepdaughters, Matline “Faye” Sherman of Thomasville, Linda Simmons of St. Petersburg, Fla.; stepson, Cleveland Walker Jr. of Cleveland, Ohio; son-in-law, Willie R.
