Services for Marquita Andrea Perkins, 26, of Thomasville, are at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 20, 2010, at Richland Missionary Baptist Church where she was a member. The Rev. Henry L. Mathis, pastor, will officiate and interment is in Peaceful Rest Cemetery. Pallbearers are Kelly Lewis, Devin Lewis, Tramaine Mills, Earl Brooks Jr., Tory Jones and Greg Gibson. Miss Perkins died March 14 at Bainbridge Healthcare Center. Born Sept. 27, 1983, in Thomasville, she was a daughter of Frank Perkins and Jade Brooks Hill. She was a 2002 graduate of Thomasville High School, attended Keiser College in Tallahassee, Fla., and was employed by Southwestern State Hospital until her health failed. Brown, Effie Jean Perkins; great-grandmother, Maggie Vera Johnson Brooks; and stepgrandfather, Ernest Hill Sr. The viewing is from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour Saturday at the church with no viewing after the eulogy.
