Mattie C. Anderson
Services for Mattie C. Anderson, 79, of Camilla, are 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug., 15, 2009, at Robert Jester Mortuary Chapel in Camilla. Rev. Charlie Williams will officiate and interment will be in First Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Newton. Active pallbearers are her nephews. She was born Aug. 16, 1929, in Baker County, to the late Henry and Ida Wilson Crumbley. She attended Baker County and Pelham public schools. She married W. H. Anderson, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Anderson died Aug. 9, 2009, at Big Bend Hospice in Tallahassee, Fla., after an extended illness. Survivors include nieces, Elizabeth Crumbley of Camilla and Peggy (Darryl) Harris of Putney; sons, Tommy L. (Juanita) Williams Jr. of Albany and W. J. (Marsha) Anderson Jr. of Suitland, Md.; sister, Ira (Robert) Anderson of St. Petersburg, Fla.; sisters-in-law, Frances Crumbley of Edison and Louvenia Crumbley of Hahira; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. — Cloud & Son Funeral Home
