Darrell Rollins

Services for Darrell Rollins, 63, of Tallahassee, Fla., are at 11 a.m., March 13, 2010, at Hatcher-Peoples Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Joshua Slack will officiate and interment is in Peaceful Rest Cemetery. Pallbearers are Michael A. Rollins, Darrell Smith, Sherman D. Smith, Vincent Smith, Gregory K. Walker and James D. Williams. Mr. Rollins died March 4 at his residence. Born Oct. 25, 1946, in Thomasville, he was a son of the late Earl and Gussie M. Rollins. He attended Magnolia High School, served in the U.S. Army and was a retired painter. Survivors include sisters, Mary Geraldine Rollins of Tallahassee, Fla., Vivian Rollins. Ernestine Rollins both of Thomasville, Rebecca R. Davis of Huntsville, Ala.; brother, Earl Rollins of Grand Prairie, Texas; sister-in-law, Bobbie Rollins of Grand Prairie, Texas; brother, Robert Harrison of Thomasville; sister-in-law, Beverly Harrison of Thomasville; god sister, Hettie Franklin of Tallahassee; and god brother, Eugene Franklin of Tallahassee. The viewing is from noon to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral chapel. — Hatcher-Peoples Funeral Home
