GCBOE discusses library funding

THOMASVILLE — A segment of budget discussion during the July 19 called meeting of the Grady County Board of Education revolved around partnering with and whether or not to reinstate funding to Roddenbery Memorial Library.

Currently, no funds are included in the proposed budget — $35.2 million in expenditures — which was tentatively adopted at the meeting.

Staff is expected to come up with a plan to present to the board. Then, the board can determine whether or not to fund that service.
