Services for Sally Ruth Grant Alley, 94, of Thomasville, are 2 p.m. Friday, July 24, 2009, at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Carl Worbie Mae Tuggle Sellers

Mrs. Worbie Mae Tuggle Sellers, of Cairo, died on Monday, July 20, 2009, in Pelham after an extended illness. Services for Mrs. Sellers will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2009, at 2 p.m. at the Pine Level Baptist Church, where she was a member. The Rev. Jim Weaver and the Rev. Roger Brinkley will officiate. Interment will follow at Pine Level Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 at the funeral home. Active pallbearers will be Dave Drum, Rodney Prince, Ricky Prince, Mike Bennett, Terry Terrell, Dr. Tim Sellers, Michael Sellers. A member of a large loving family, Mrs. Sellers was born in Grady County on Feb. 11, 1920, to the late James Watson and Ruby Bell Hester Tuggle. She lived her lifetime in the Pine Level Community and married Thurman Lee Sellers on Sept. 13, 1936. He preceded her in death in 1977. Survivors are her sons and daughters-in-law, Larry Thurman (Jillian) Sellers, Albany, Dr. James Elvis (Thelma) Sellers, Adel, Carroll Lee (Suzanne) Sellers, Cairo; grandchildren; Rebecca Elizabeth (Dave) Drum, Marietta, Michael Watson, (Heike) Sellers, Alpharetta, Dr. Tim Markam (Traci) Sellers, Adel, Tess Angel (Jeff) Taylor, Dublin, Christopher Lee Sellers, London, England; great-grandchildren, Ryan Lawrence Drum, Dylan Howard Drum, both of Marietta, Anna Elizabeth Sellers, Emily Margaret Sellers, both of Alpharetta, James David Taylor, Julia Grace Taylor, both of Dublin, Madison Suzanne Sellers, Adel; brothers and sisters, Margaret Inez Tuggle, Thomasville, Hester Agnes Tuggle Prince, Faceville, James Frazier Tuggle, Cairo, Martha Tom Tuggle Williford, Atlanta, Shirley June Tuggle Bennett, Cairo, Ruby Annell Tuggle Barrett, Cairo, and Linda Annette Tuggle Counts, California. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother, Watson Milton Tuggle, and a sister, Jane Helen Tuggle Smith.
